Are you looking forward to getting onto the water this June? Then take a look below for some ideas of activities happening on or near the water for you to enjoy.
Southampton Old Town Boat Trail - Monday 28th May – Sunday 3rd June, 10am to 5pm.
Follow the trail, starting at the historic Tudor House and wind your way around the streets of the Old Town, completing the tasks on your sheet as you go. You’ll have to find facts, write down numbers and draw pictures. Once you’ve completed the trail, follow the instructions to collect you prize!
Trails available to collect from Tudor House and Southampton Central.
Newport Jazz Weekend, 30th May - 3rd June.
Newport Jazz Weekend is the best established jazz festival in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, regularly attracting star names from all around the UK and further afield including the USA and Australia. T
aking place in half term week, it is popular with locals, holidaymakers and jazz fans who make a trip to the Island especially for the chance to see some of the best jazz singers and musicians around. There are some wonderful venues with great acoustics, all within a short distance from each other which results in a small, bustling and vibrant festival feel.
As well as the main acts, there are many free local bands and other musicians playing in pubs, restaurants and other venues around town. There is always live music on somewhere around the Town, often free of charge. The music itself is accessible and popular, ranging from Dixieland / traditional jazz, to mainstream and modern, and latin / funk.

Highcliffe Food Festival - Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 June
With over 75 stalls selling gorgeous products ranging from quality meats, cheeses, patisserie, fish, oils, vinegars, garden furniture, knives to several stalls selling artisan gins, wines, beers and spirits.
There will be two demonstration kitchens featuring top local celebrity chefs from the area's outstanding hotels and restaurants.Plus two stages of musical entertainment presented by Highcliffe's own music studio, HP Music, to help make the Highcliffe Food Festival a true feast for the senses!
This is truly an event for the whole family with several venues around the village providing entertainment for all ages both fun and educational.
Marina Day, MDL Marina's 9th June
If you are visiting an MDL Marina on Saturday June 9th then you can join in with their Marina Day. Each marina has a host of fun activities, display and all round family fun to enjoy. As a RIB Shack Marine owner you can visit any MDL marina as part of your Freedom berth package.
Southampton Beer Festival, St Mary's Stadium, 8th June 2018 - 9th June 2018
Join the annual Southampton CAMRA Beer Festival. Featuring up to 100 local and nations beers, 32 ciders and perries, and a vast range of international bottle beers.
There are 4 sessions with entertainment-

Christchurch Super Car Show, Sunday 10th June, Christchurch High Street.
This June will see some of the world's most prestigious super cars coming to Christchurch High Street once again for the Churchill Foundation's Christchurch Super Car Show 2018, a spectacular must-see event for all the family.
Super car enthusiasts and members of the public will have the chance to get up close and personal with around 40 of these incredible vehicles. McLaren's Formula One show car is set to be the star of the show, alongside stunning Ferraris, Lamborghinis, McLarens, Aston Martins and many other exotic models from around the world.
The cars will unleash their horsepower on a convoy parade through Highcliffe-on-Sea and into Christchurch High Street, escorted by a fleet of Harley Davidson motorcycles. On arrival there will be an exhilarating rev-up, and the cars will then be on show for the public to view from 11am to 3pm.
The High Street will be closed to general traffic throughout the event, and other attractions will include an international street food market, pop-up bars, live music, entertainment, competitions and family fun for all ages.
Bournemouth Food & Drink Festival, 15th - 24th June.
The Bournemouth Food & Drink Festival is 10 whole days of delight for foodies.

Street Food Festival – Street food and pop-up restaurants have changed the way we eat out – come and try some of Bournemouth’s best Eating On The Go experiences.
Demo Kitchen – A Demonstration Kitchen featuring some of the best local chefs will be in Bournemouth Square.
The People’s Kitchen – Bournemouth locals take on the People’s Cook Off Challenge.
The Kid’s Kitchen – Get the kids in the kitchen with some easy to follow recipes from local chefs.
Harry Paye Day, June 16th, 12-6pm at Poole Quay
Avast me harties! Tis time for land lubbers to dig out yer eye patch, earing and cutlass for Poole’s annual celebration on 16 June, of its favourite pirate son Harry Paye.
Organised by the Pirates of Poole and supported by Poole Tourism, the popular shindig gets underway from 12 under the noonday sun with the Parade of Pirates along Poole Quay.

Folk on the Quay is a FREE folk music festival in Poole with outdoor music stages, a ceilidh, and over twenty teams of morris dancers in the streets overlooking Poole’s lovely Harbour.
