TAKE A TRIP TO GINS CLUBHOUSE ON BEAULIEU RIVER

Wherever your home location is, Gins is an attractive venue for RIB Shack Marine owners to visit. One of the RIB Shack Marine owners, Leon S, let’s us know why;

I am one of the quartet linked to “Rogue One” and also a long term member of the Royal Southampton Yacht Club. Many years ago Lord Montagu made it possible for Gins clubhouse to be built, and from this year Gins has become the primary location of the club, having recently sold the original clubhouse at Ocean Village.

Gins is sited just below Buckler’s Hard and has long been regarded as the “Jewel in the crown” of the club’s assets. The clubhouse overlooks a particularly beautiful stretch of the unspoilt Beaulieu River with views across to the Isle of Wight. In the past six months the clubhouse has been substantially updated, and the menu is very attractive. (please see below).

Wherever your home location is, Gins is an attractive venue for RIB Shack Marine owners to visit. One of the RIB Shack Marine owners, Leon S, let’s us know why;

There is a cost, of course, for full membership, but any visiting yachtsman is welcome, without charge, to enjoy the facilities of the bar and restaurant . There is a good sized pontoon available at any state of the tide for the modest draft of a rib, and should that be full then there is a further pontoon mid-river, and a bosun will collect you.

It is always best to book beforehand, to check full details of opening times etc please refer to the RSYC website and to book please call Lauren on 023 8022 3352. To contact Bosun Colin, call sign Sea Echo on Channel 77.

If you would like to find out more about the shared ownership scheme at RIB Shack Marine, please refer to RIB Shack Marine website  or call Helen on 023 8033 6197.

I hope you enjoy your visit.
