How The Scheme Works
Boat Ownership
RIB Shack Marine believes in keeping it simple. Each of our boats has four equal owners, each having access to their boat for 13 weeks of the year, with each owner therefore having a minimum of 1 week’s use in every month. The period of ownership is 3 years, after which the boat is sold and the net proceeds equally divided between the four owners.
Whilst contractually every owner is guaranteed their boat every 4 weeks, the owners regularly enter into week / weekend swapping arrangements with other owners, all of which is managed by RIB Shack Marine. In addition, we regularly have owners calling up to check availability of boats outside of their schedules and in nearly all cases we find a boat that’s available within the fleet.
The Ideal Management Programme
As a member of our shared boat ownership scheme RIB Shack Marine provide you with a full and comprehensive boat management programme whereby your boat is cleaned, fuelled and checked before you use it. Thus freeing you to enjoy your investment with complete peace of mind from the moment you arrive at your boat to the moment you leave.
The all-inclusive management programme includes;

In addition, any special requirements can also be taken care of, efficiently and economically, like delivery and collection to a holiday location.
